I am certified in EMDR through Thrive Counseling & Consulting, which is recognized by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).


Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT is a comprehensive cognitive-behavioral treatment designed to help individuals manage intense emotions and improve interpersonal relationships. It combines traditional cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices, focusing on four key areas: emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. DBT is particularly effective for those struggling with mood disorders, self-harm, and chronic stress. In my practice, I prepare distressed individuals who may have ineffective coping skills prepare for EMDR (if necessary) through first completing some DBT skills.
